Fibre pattern

This pattern is meant to look like enlarged fibres. The runners finished size is approx. 128 x 17.5 cm, and it is stitched onto linen, 10 threads/cm.

An oval-shaped pattern to match the shapes of vases and ceramics. The pattern reminds me of the tracks of a model railway.

Linen, 10 threads pr cm., approx. 59 x 31 cm.

Copper Forest

This pattern contains a copper tree, and a backstitched turquoise forest (feel free to use the turquoise backstitches or the copper tree on their own).

The finished work is a table runner on linen (10 thread pr. cm., size about 17½ x 92 cm.).

Christmas

A Seasonal Greetings to the most beautiful tree in the forest. Runner stitched on linen, 8 threads per cm. The edge is 14 threads wide. Size: 83 x 26 cm.

Shapes 2011

The starting point for this runner was three small shapes cut in paper. Size is about 78 x 20 centimeters on linen (10 threads per centimeter). The thread is DMC nr. 210. I have used full and three-quarter cross stitches.

Cupcakes 2011

I had a lot of fun making this ”cupcake” runner. Size about 76 x 16 centimeters on linen (10 threads per centimeter). I have used a DMC thread. The pattern is stitched using cross- and back stitches.

Tulip 2009

The pillow and table runner were created by experimenting with the shapes of brush strokes when using acrylic paint. The first piece was the red table runner, made on fine linen. Both pillows were done black/gray on coarse linen.
