Horizontal

“Horizontal” is a wall hanging embroidered on linen with 10 threads per cm.

The piece is worked in full and half cross stitches, as well as outline stitch.

The finished embroidery measures approximately 142 × 39 cm.

The motifs are abstract and horizontal in character, and the entire composition is brought together by a strong vertical yellow field.

Rime Frost

The embroidery is done using full cross stitches with two strands of thread.
The thread used is flora cotton from fru zippe, color no. 157.

Of course, you are welcome to choose a different thread color if you prefer.

Grass Table Runner

This pattern can be embroidered using either flora-cotton or DMC thread:

  • OO: flora-cotton no. 111 / DMC no. 989
  • XX: flora-cotton no. 324 / DMC no. 3052
  • MM: flora-cotton no. 452 / DMC no. 772

flora-cotton is embroidered with two strands in the needle.

To complete the pattern, four pieces of linen thread are tied in the center of each motif. Use a leftover thread in a matching color.

All stitches are full cross-stitches.

Perspective

“Perspective” is a repeating pattern of rooftops, gutters, and downspouts, creating a rhythmic and graphic effect.

Thread: flora-cotton from fru-zippe – red 502 / green 614

Gold

This embroidery was created using a mix of various gold thread scraps and flora-cotton thread in color no. 507.

Finished dimensions: approximately 56 x 32 cm. Stitched on linen canvas (8 threads per cm) with techniques such as full and half cross-stitch, couched goldwork, and backstitch.

The process was a playful exploration of free imagination, without a set plan, and it was a joy to work with gold threads of many different qualities.
