This years angel is designed in a ribbon like pattern, where I have mixed in the green color in order to warm up the icy blue ones.

I’ve chosen to base my angel for 2013 on a square grid theme. I have used bright colors and a dark silver thread for the pattern.

Linen, 10 thread/cm – 12.5 x 7 cm.

Angels on their way…This runner is stitched on linen, 10 threads per cm. Size: 98 x 22 cm.

The structure in a small pencil sketch, and the fine details of the lines makes these angels drift into the air.

I got a box of colored pencils (metallic) as a gift, and immediately used them to draw this sheet of angles. I transferred the drawing into a cross stitch pattern by hand to get the best result.

The inspiration for my angel this year is the wind turbines. I am facinated of the big wind turbines, whether they are standing individually or grouped together.
