This pattern contains a copper tree, and a backstitched turquoise forest (feel free to use the turquoise backstitches or the copper tree on their own).
The finished work is a table runner on linen (10 thread pr. cm., size about 17½ x 92 cm.).
Sønder Havnegade in Sønderborg, Denmark. Size 150 cm x 17 cm. Stitched onto linen, 12 threads per cm. Instructions are included in the pattern (havnegade.pdf).
See also the winter version of Sønder Havnegade here.
Important update:
The starting point for this runner was three small shapes cut in paper. Size is about 78 x 20 centimeters on linen (10 threads per centimeter). The thread is DMC nr. 210. I have used full and three-quarter cross stitches.
I had a lot of fun making this ”cupcake” runner. Size about 76 x 16 centimeters on linen (10 threads per centimeter). I have used a DMC thread. The pattern is stitched using cross- and back stitches.
Four pine twigs stitched onto linen (7 threads per centimetre), approx. 16 x 78 centimetre. The coarse canvas is stitched with two threads (DMC) or one thread (Dansk Blomstergarn). This makes the subject more airy. I stitched the table runner with black and silver.
The pattern is available as a PDF download.
