“Angels 2010”, table runner.
Four pine twigs stitched onto linen (7 threads per centimetre), approx. 16 x 78 centimetre. The coarse canvas is stitched with two threads (DMC) or one thread (Dansk Blomstergarn). This makes the subject more airy. I stitched the table runner with black and silver.
The pattern is available as a PDF download.
Christmas is approaching, and it is time for this years angel.

The small ornament is stitched onto linen (10 threads per centimetre), diameter approx. 8 centimetre.
My idea with this cross stitch pattern was to use a simple design. Also, the idea was to create a pattern that had a fixed width, but with a variable length. I have used orange hand-dyed-yarn from Stef Francis 08/01 MC. Other color changing yarn can be used, or you can use a solid color DMC 722. Stitched on linen (10 threads per centimeter). Final measures: 16 x 142 centimeter.
On occasion of Her Majesty The Queen Margrethes 70th birthday 16th April 2010.
A sprig of oak has been the model for this motif. The embroidery is done on linen (7 threads per cm.)
It has been incredibly exciting to draw the houses of these three pillows. Although they are out of my imagination, they should still look like real houses. You can download the house on the small pillow as a free pattern.
I made this embroidery with the blue vase as a starting point. I have chosen to have golden, silver and copper thread form a contrast with the blue shades.
I made this embroidery on the occasion of the COP 15 meeting in December 2009. The theme is, as always, take care of the climate.
